Current status

Is it open?
No. The resort’s website no longer serves Tuscany Manor content, and its Yelp listing is marked closed. (Yelp)
When did it close?
We have not found a published closing date. Its official site was still advertising the resort in January 2024. (archived official site) By later in 2024 the site no longer showed the resort.
What was it?
In its own words, a “clothing optional and naturist resort,” “lifestyle-friendly,” for couples and singles aged 21 and over. Rooms were one- and two-bedroom suites with kitchens. (archived official site)
Why does it matter?
It was the stopgap after the Terra Cotta closed. Its own announcement welcomed “former Terra Cotta” guests and named Terra Cotta staff who had moved over. (archived announcement)
What is there now?
We could not confirm a new business at the address. The building has appeared in commercial real-estate listings. (LoopNet)

Where former guests can go instead

No traditional couples’ naturist resort is left inside Palm Springs. What remains is spread across three kinds of stay, and they are not interchangeable:

  • Hot-springs stays for any adult: Mi Kasa Hot Springs and Hotel O2 in Desert Hot Springs, about 20 minutes north. Calm and clothing-optional, without a lifestyle scene.
  • Traditional naturism: Glen Eden Sun Club in Temescal Valley, about 75 miles west. The closest match to the non-sexual nudist culture these resorts were known for.
  • Lifestyle resorts for couples: Sea Mountain Inn in Desert Hot Springs and Exotic Dreams in Warm Sands. These are swinger-friendly, which is a different atmosphere.

The couples guide compares all of them, including drive times and who each one admits.
